  • Took on a foundation’s website revamp project at year-end, expanding service clients to non-profit organizations.
2017
  • Standardized operations and deepened services. The company established and released the “Website Build SOP (Revised Edition),” standardizing the full service process—from requirement discussions, contracts, UI/UX design, initial/mid/final acceptance, to launch and post-launch maintenance.
  • Expanded the service scope to include complex development projects. Core services included website design, hosting recommendations, and admin system setup.

  • Business operations began, and we started taking on web design and development projects from the start.

Origin:

Codepulse was founded by Vince. The reason was simple: Vince is someone with lots of ideas and deep passion, but when dealing with the company, colleagues, and managers, even after raising many questions and proposing many approaches, he constantly felt underestimated. Leadership roles were often filled by people “parachuted in,” and it left him wondering: we work so hard and take things seriously—why don’t we ever get a chance? So Vince made a bold decision. To “prove himself,” he created Codepulse—to prove that even without strong backing, we can stand tall in society through hard work, a serious attitude, and professional technical expertise—and carve out our own sky in life.

Process:

We don’t “manage”—yes, we don’t manage—but we do have systems. Because we value personal responsibility, we put people first. We understand that our teammates will each have families in the future. We hope that one day, our teammates can leave the office properly at 3 p.m. to pick up their children—because our projects are on schedule, rigorous, and worthy of clients’ and the company’s trust. We break away from outdated Taiwanese employer-style management, because we know our teammates are highly educated professionals. We want to extend personal responsibility into everyday work, deliver excellent outcomes for clients, and build those outcomes on a foundation of serious, conscientious work.

Belief:

We believe every Codepulse teammate can do their job well. So we let go of rigid constraints and focus on creating a comfortable work environment, emphasizing self-management and giving people room to fully show their value.
